What is Grinding Process?

After 36-72 hours, depending on the season, after the grouting application, the wet scraping process can be started. In the scraping process made with stone no. 1 in classical marble scraper machines, the joint filler layer of 1-2 mm thickness left on the surface of the tiles is cleaned. At the same time, the surface is smoothed by eliminating the teeth that may occur during laying. Then, it is scraped with 2, 3, 4 and 5 stones, followed by 400 and 600 sandy stones, respectively. It is scraped with the last polishing stone. Then, using salt polish (acid oxalic), the surface is polished with the help of a wire attached to the machine.
